School Infomation

A message from our headteacher

Middleton Primary School has the reputation for being a happy school where achievement is good. Our ethos is one of calm purposeful learning within a harmonious and inclusive community.

Teaching here has been judged by (OFSTED Nov 2006) to be good or outstanding. The pupils’ learning is further supported by the high quality work of our Teaching Assistants.

We regard our parents as partners and strive to ensure that you are well informed and involved through regular newsletters, our website and active Friends of Middleton association. We take an active part within the community and provide opportunities for local people to get together including social events for the parents of hearing impaired toddlers, Bretton nursery drop ins, Peterborough Operatic Society and extra-curriculum clubs for the pupils. We also have a popular pre-school on the premises.

You are most welcome to come and look around the school, to meet pupils and staff and see our success yourself.

I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

Mrs Kathy McDermott
Headteacher
