Middleton Primary School has the reputation for being a happy school where achievement is good.  Our ethos is one of calm purposeful learning within a harmonious and inclusive community.

Teaching here has been judged by (OFSTED April 2010) to be good or outstanding.  The pupils’ learning is further supported by the high quality work of our Teaching Assistants.

We regard our parents as partners and strive to ensure that you are well informed and involved through regular text messages, newsletters and our website. We take an active part within the community and provide opportunities for local people to get together including social events for the parents of hearing impaired toddlers, Bretton nursery drop ins and even a boxing club for pupils and their parents. We also have a popular pre-school on the premises.
